Will City be Manchester’s top club next season?

Manchester United have dominated English football for the last 17 years under the expert stewardship of Brian Kidd, Steve McClaren, Carlos Quieroz and Mike Phelan, but cracks are beginning to appear in their ageing team. Manchester City have access to huge riches thanks to their discovery of the lost city of Abu Dhabi, and are likely to spend big this summer, adding to an all-star squad which already features the likes of Dedryck Boyata and Sylvinho. Will City be (blue) mooning at their (red) devilish neighbours from a superior Premier League position this time next year?

Manchester is now a modern cosmopolitan city and as such it deserves a modern, cosmopolitan team to represent it. I’m thinking Chelsea
